Skateboards, longboards, streetwear – Titus supplies beginners and professionals with the trendiest skater goods. Within the scope of a renovation of the shop in Karl-Liebknecht-Straße in Berlin, Oktalite supplied the customers with a new lighting design. The terms of reference: to generate more excitement as well as a warmer and more pleasant atmosphere. Moreover, the LED concept was meant to lead to an energy saving. No sooner said than done.
Oktalite used 117 surface-mounted B.LEE spotlights with 4,000 lumens and a light colour temperature of 3,500 Kelvin. The result was convincing: the LED luminaires bring atmospheric accents and exciting contrasts into the skater shop. Moreover, colours are now shown more to their advantage. While the total output was previously 8.58 kilowatt hours, 4.1 kilowatt hours are now reached. Photos: Christoph Meinschäfer
