Cologne, December 2011 – This year the South African 'Market of the year 2011' accolade was awarded to the SPAR supermarket in the 'Cape Quarter', a shopping centre in Johannesburg. All lighting comes from Oktalite.

In 2010 the SPAR market at Cape Quarter had already won the 'Best Retail Store Design' award. A special highlight of the exclusive supermarket with a retail space of 1,000 m² is the lighting, and in the fresh goods area with meat, fish, fruit and vegetables Oktalite's Scenic Flat spots in HIT and HST-TC versions ensure optimal presentations that care for the goods on display. In 2012, further supermarkets are being planned with Oktalite and Euroconcepts, its South African distribution partner.
