Cologne/Frankfurt, 3 April 2012 – Perfect displays, an exciting atmosphere and optimal efficiency. These are the three core requirements set by architects, planners and managers when it comes to lighting in retail settings. At Light & Building in Frankfurt, oktalite presented innovative LED solutions for the successful presentation of goods. In the company cube on the TRILUX Group stand (Hall 3.0, Stand D11), the Cologne-based retail lighting expert displayed a new LED module. The new module combines a silent system for passive cooling with extremely high lumen values (up to 4,000 lm) and thus provides perfect illumination and a harmoniously styled display. Among other things the new technology is used in directional spotlights for flush ceiling installation; modular spotlights for lively, true-colour displays of various goods and also in recess-mounted directional spots with sophisticated reflector technology. This will even fully illuminate blind spots on shelves or walls. In addition to this, the Lighting Manufaktur also presented a new lighting system, Coriflex. This new system displays shelved goods perfectly and, thanks to its unobtrusive shape, fits into any interior architecture. As an “all-in-one” solution it also lowers costs as its integrated components allow it to be installed quickly and easily. 

oktalite, the Cologne-based lighting experts, specialise in the aesthetic design of retail environments. The cardanic recessed directional spotlight Cardan Vario Compact allows goods to be displayed subtly yet effectively. The flat installation of the LED spotlight creates a smooth appearance in the ceiling whilst enabling the light beam to be flexibly adjusted. A newly developed control mechanism allows the beam angle to be adjusted between 12 and 48 degrees. With its innovative reflector technology for optimised colour rendering and a high lumen yield, this spotlight guarantees brilliant lighting accents.

Compact variability 

The spotlight Fano allows illumination scenarios to be flexibly adjusted depending on the area of application. The modular construction of the directional spotlight allows the lighting to be adjusted according to the desired atmosphere and quality of the goods – for stylish lighting for anything from fashion to food and much more. It combines classic design with a high level of energy efficiency thanks to its special reflectors.

Light and colour come out to play 

The recess-mounted directional spotlight Stratus Vario 175 brings colours to the fore thus creating a lighting ambience that drives sales. The compact lights direct the gaze directly to the walls, providing attractive floor-to-ceiling illumination for the goods displayed there. Even blind spots and dark corners are given a new lease of life with this spotlight. Moreover, the lights have unique true-colour properties and, thanks to their expanding springs, can be mounted in a flash.

Redefining shelf displays 

The new lighting system Coriflex provides eye-catching illumination for shelves. Thanks to their simple, elegant design, the lights can be fitted seamlessly into any interior architecture. Their modular construction ensures a constant appearance regardless of the optics used. Moreover, Coriflex puts conventional trunking systems in the shade in many respects – the “all-in-one” lighting solution is installed in half the usual time and, with its high lumen yield, promises additional energy savings of over 30 percent.
